Dr. Sapana Thakore graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. Prior to dental school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. She is a member of the Vancouver & District Dental Society, and both the BC and Canadian Dental Associations.

Throughout her educational career, Dr. Thakore volunteered a considerable amount of time researching oral cancer at the BC Cancer Agency. She also travelled to Guatemala to provide dental care to families in rural communities.

Dr. Thakore strongly believes in carefully assessing the needs of every individual to provide patient-centered care. Her gentle and conservative approach allows patients to feel at ease in her chair. Outside of the office, Dr. Thakore is a foodie and loves trying new local restaurants. She also enjoys Indian classical dancing and travelling.
